Switzerland Objects To Contraband Control
Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. BEENE, Dec. 23. The Swiss mission attempting to negotiato an economic agreement with the Allies has returned from Paris. Official circles state that Switzerland refused to accept the Allied interpretation of tiio contraband control procedure. Tho Swiss are determined to maintain their economic independence at all costs although drastically curtailing trading with belligerents.
