1500 Jews Face Starvation
STRANDED IN BLACK SEA PORTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. BUCHAREST, Dec. 27. Fifteen hundred Polish and German Jews who came down the Danube hoping to reach Palestine are stranded and are facing starvation at two Black Sea ports where the authorities refused to allow them to sail.
