On behalf -of the retiring Standard 6, Mr and Mrs Bond was asked to accept a gift. Mr Bond wished them every success in the future and if anyone needed help he would do anything hec ould to help them along. Air. R. Guy, thanked the teachers for the wonderful time they had given the parents and also thanked the people for coming along. The fortnightly Labour euchre prize was won by Airs AlcNab and Air C. Osman. Airs AlcNab also won a. competition. Air. Lowry AI.P. sent Christmas greetings to everyone. Air. A. Gyde is an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital. Aliss R. Atitchell of Dannevirke, is spending a holiday with Airs. C. XVilliams. Airs. H. Parr and family have left f°r a few weeks’ holiday at Raetilii. Air B. Erimer of XVeliington is spending a short holiday with Airs. Wilton. Mrs Schwass and Mrs McNeill have returned homea fter a week's holiday at the XVeliington Exhibition.
Miss Li. XX 7 aghorn, Airs. D. Murdoch and Mr. D. Waghorn have left for a holiday at Stratford with their sister. Airs. J. XVilliams. Air and Airs R. Reid and Air and Airs C. Daly have left for a rew weeks’ holiday at Cambridge. Miss Noeline Parr has left for a holiday at Wellington.
