NGAWAPURUA At tho December meeting, Airs. Coulter presided and welcomed visitors. A prayer for peace vas read. The motto was, ‘Peace on Earth, Goodwill Towards Men.’ It was resolved to enter a competition in tho Arts and Crafts and Pantry section in tho A. and P. Show. It was decided to have a picnic on January 17 and a meeting will be held on the 10th for all those interested. While the meeting was on, Airs. Knapp assisted by Aliss AI. Singers took the children outside and they played games uutil the meeting was over. The children were afterwards seated at the pretty tables and wero treated with jellies, cakes, nuts, sweets and soft drinks. Later they all received gifts handed out by Airs. Knapp, assisted by Aliss AI. Singers. A competition, ‘ * Guessing Names,” was won by Aliss AI. Alountfort. Best bloom was won by Aliss AI. Knapp; jar of flowers, Airs. AlacKay; best dressed doll, Aliss M. Singers 3, Airs. Pride and Aliss AI. Knapp 2 equal, Airs. Singers and Airs. Wade 3 equal; Christmas novelties, Airs. Singers 3, Aliss AI. Singers 2, Mrs. Cyril Alorgan 3. The hostesses were Alesdames Coulter, Rofe, B. Clarke, T. Smith Waugh, Knapp, Saunders, and Reid and Misses J. Alpin, M. Singers and I. Alorgan.
