Feilding Caledonian Pipe Band

ANNUAL GATHERING ON SATURDAY The annual gathering organised by the Feilding Caledonian Pipe Band is to be held at Johnston Park, Feilding, on Saturday next commencing at noon. Special interest in this fixture which attracted much attention when inaugurated last year and encouraged by excellent support from the Scottish fraternity over a wide area the society has arranged for a varied programme of attractions. This will include many original numbers. One outstanding event on the programme will be the drum-majors ' display and for this feature a New Zealand champion band will take part. Another highlight will be the Caledonian Handicap for kilties for wnich special prizes are being offered. Children will be specially catered for and altogether the afternoon should prove entertaining in every way.
