Notes of the Day
Business resumed in Feilding yesterday after the Christmas holiday break and the town was quite busy despite the fact that so many of the community are away holidaying. Until early % last evening Feilding appears to have escaped the rather heavy rains which have fallen along the West Coast over the past two days. Light rain commenced to fall last evening as it did during Sunday evening.
