German Broadcasts For Benefit of French EXTRA CHRISTMAS RATIONS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 1.18 a.m. PARIS, Dec. 26. A French communique: “All was quiet on the entire front except that German loudspeakers were broadcasting in pure French records” for the benefit of the French troops. An extra wine ration was issued to the French outposts in the Saar and Palatinate and extra chocolate and rum to tho British. The press extensively quotes the King’s broadcast and adds inspiring comments.
