Manawatu Bowling Club
Tho usual Boxing Day pairs tourna* inent was held on the club’s green yesterday. Some 36 players took part, many visitors being present from sister clubs. Five games of 21 heads each were flayed. Three skips with four wins and threo leads also with four wins proved to be the winners of the semi-finals. C. Anderson and Chilton met Thorburn aud Dahl aud the latter pair won and then met und defeated Wort and Lett, who drew tho bye in the first round. In these games only five heads were played.
