GERMAN CHRISTMAS TASK LONDON, Dec. 21. Preparations for Christmas are goinj on in Germany. Some time ago the German radio broadcast a talk for school children about Christmas, without any reference to the birth of Christ. The school children were told that Christmas celebrations were tlio reincarnation of the “god of light** with the hope of a good harvest in tho coming year. A German broadcast on Christmas books made reference to “Mem Kampf,’* and this was followed by a broadcast in French, in which French listeners were warned not to pay too much attention to ‘‘ Mein Kampf, * * and assured the people that the references to Franco as an enemy were merely anti-French sentiment prevailing when the book was written. The next night “Mein Kampf*’ was recommended to the Germans as tho ideal Christmas book. The broadcast said: “No words of tho book arc changed, since Hitler has not changed.*’
