Persecution of Czechs is “ Indescribable ”

LONDON, Dec. 21. The Foreign Minister, Lord Halifax, and Dr. Bencs, former President of Czechoslovakia, have exchanged letters establishing a Czechoslovak National Committeo in England. Dr. Bencs, in a statement to-day, said he hoped shortly to form two divisions. He added that the persecution of Czechoslovakia was indescribable. Germany had concentrated in Czechoslovakia 300,000 soldiers, excluding the Gestapo. Portion of the force was maintaining order, while others were singled out. for operations against other countries.
