Memorial to Former Scout

A memorial portrait of Squadronleader Lennox Lamb, recently killed on active service with tho Royal Air Force, was unveiled in the St. Matthew’s Scout den. recently by tho Mayor of Masterton (Mr. T. Jordan) in the pi*esence of members of the St. Matthew’s Troop, parents and others. Tho vicar of St. Matthew’s, Rev. E. J. Rich, presided over tho gathering. Tho late Squadronleader Lamb was formerly a member of the St. Matthew’s Scout troop and was the first King’s Scout in Wairarapa. Amongst those present were Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Lamb, parents, Mr. Stanley Lamb, brother, and Mrs. Frank Perry, sister of the late Squadron-leader Lamb.
