W.E.A. Summer School at Feilding
Arrangements are almost completed for the second summer school of the Wellington W.E.A. to be held at the Feilding Agricultural High School from December 26 to aJnuary 2. Over one hundred students will be In residence and it is anticipated that a large number of part-time students from the Manawatu will attend daily. The school will be under the general direction of Mr. J. O. Shearer, M.A., of Victoria University College, who will be directly responsible for a programme of plays and music. Professor A. W. Sewell, of Auckland University College, will conduct a course of six lectures on “Drama and the Social Struggle,” while Dr. H. N. Parton, of Canterbury University College, will lecture on “Science in the Modern World.’’ Other lecturers include Mr. A. S. Hely, Mr. A. M. Richards, M.A., and Mr. H. C. D. Somerset, M.A., of the Feilding Community Centre. Ample accommodation is available at the High School with its fine new Rangitane House, and the visitors to Feilding should thoroughly enjoy their stay.
