Notes of the Da
In connection with the Feilding Centennial memorial, the Mayor (Mr. T. L. Seddon) acknowledges a donation of £5 towards the local fund from Mr. G. Gambitsis, of Feilding. The secretary of the Feilding Red Cross Society (Mrs. E. Scott) desires to acknowledge receipt of a donation of 10s to the local Red Cross fund from the ladies of Loyal Orange Lodge No. 56. Christmas services will be celebrated at St. John’s Anglican Church, Feilding, to-morrow and on Monday. At the festal evensong service on Sunday evening a selection of Old Christmas carols will be sung, with Master K. Hodginson, of the Napier Cathedral choir, as the soloist. All collections on Christmas Day are to be devoted to the Sunday School funds.
