HANDICAPS FOR TO-NIGHT. (Special to.“ Times.") NAPIER, Feb. 17. The weekly sports meeting of the Napier Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will be held on McLean Park tomorrow evening, commencing at seven o'clock. At this time lan Driscoll will begin his attempt on the 41-years-old two-mile walking record created by A. Brady at Auckland in 1896. Mr “Dorrie" Leslie, himself a championwalker and more latterly famous as an Olympic starter at Loa Angeles, is coming from Wellington to act as one ot the judges of the walking, and he will iu addition officiate as starter in many of the other events.
