Cabaret Party for Miss Beth Parkes

Miss Beth Parkes, of Feilding, who under the tuition of Miss Phyllis Bates, has just completed her refresher course in dancing was given a cabaret party last week to mark her coming of age. It was a delightfully bright occasion and was arranged by her dancing associates in Wellington and was held at the "Majestic. 77 A very beautiful frock of ice blue lace with deep flare of tulle was worn by the guest of the evening and among those at the party were Misses Phyllis. Bates, Valma Spiller (Sydney), Mildred Hamilton (Gisborne), Eva Matthews (Wanganui), Messrs Matthew Stratton, Peter Saunderß and Robert (all of Auckland) and Athol Beale (Wellington).
