Mrs Alex Williams, "St. Lawrence, 7 ’ Otane, is on a visit to her mother, Mrs A. Sugden, Grey street, Feilding.

Mrs A. A. Langley and family, have returned to Palmerston North after a few days spent at New Plymouth.

Mr and Mrs F. L. Donnelly have returned to Palfherston North after a holiday spent motoring in the Auckland district and Rotorua.

Mr and Mrs P. R. Simpson, lan Simpson and B. Cummings are leaving Makino by car to-day to spend a camping holiday in the north.

Mrs. G. S. Peren (Palmerston North) and her children are visiting Ohingaiti where they arc the guests Of Mrs. A Morton.

Mr and Mrs Maurice Mundy and little son, Russel, spent last week-end with Mr and Mrs C. O. Allerby, Colyton, and left on Monday to take up their residence at Mangaweka.

Miss Beth Parkcs, of Feilding, is spending a week as the guest of Mrs Adams, ‘ ‘ Rangimarie, 7 7 Silverstream, after which she will stay for the weekend with Miss Monica Harpur. of Otaki, before returning home.

The death has occurred at Auckland of Mrs. Clara Iskirka, formerly an old and well-known resident of Palmerston North. Mrs-. Iskirka was a midwife for over 30 years and a police matron for three years.

Miss Merle Jennins has returned home to New Plymouth after being the guest of Mrs Maurice Waldin, Feilding. Miss Marea Bailey, Kiwitea, is spending a holiday at Paraparaumu as the guest of Mrs and Miss Ruby Gillies, of Palmerston North.

At the monthly meeting of St. Peter's Church branch of the Mothers' Union yesterday afternoon opportunity was taken by Rev. F. S. Ramson to bid "Bon Voyago 77 to Canon G. Y. Woodward and Mrs Woodward, who leave for Engir n March 6, expressing the hope th holiday would refresh them.
