Missing Searchers Return to Otaki

Per Press Association. OTAKI, Last Night. At 1.30 o’clock this afternoon, Air. W. Chaney and his son, the last of tho searchers for Air. Bartosh, who was lost in the ranges during tho week-end, walked out to Otaki Forks. Although they had heard the aeroplane sent out to recall them, they had not seen it, being in the heavy bush on tho edge of the Otaki river gorge at the time. They had not heard the three rifle shots [fired at Saddle creek, being on Mount [Crawford at the time. Neither knew that Air. Bartosh had got out until they arrived, at Otaki Forks.
