THE BUZZER SCORES IN NOLAN CUP. CLESSAMOR’S SPRINT. HAWEEA, Last Night. For the opening of the Egmont summer meeting bright sunshine followed heavy rain in the early morning. Dungarvan, One Whetu and Taitoru were first away, but passing the stands Taitoru had charge from Master Cyklon, Dungarvan (pulling hard), One Whetu and Lowenberg. Running down the back stretch Taitoru and Master Cyklon were leading from Dungarvan with One Whetu and Lowenberg In a handy position and the remainder all close up. Crossing the top there was little change in the order but the pace was clapped on and the leaders drew away slightly. However, they were not allowed to get far for the others began to move up smartly. Taitoru and Master Cyklon entered the straight on tCrms, closely attended by One Whetu, Dungarvan end Lowenberg. Half-way down the straight Master Cyklon retired, leaving Taitoru and One Whetu lighting out the issue for the former to score impressively by half a length. In a great duel for third place Hazoor just defeated Spiral, the next to finish being Dungarvan, Lowenberg and Tout lo Monde. Time, 2.9 1-5. Won by three lengths; half a length. Time, 1.54 3-5. From au excellent despatch The Buzzer, Convivial, Earl Colossus and Le Grand were most prominent. When the field had settled down Earl Colossus had charge from The Buzzer, Convivial, Reipar, Red Sand, Brazen King and Lo Grand in the order named. There was little change down the back and running for the straight Earl Colossus was just ahead of Reipar and The Buzzer, •who were together closely attended by Convivial and Brazen King, and the rest of the field were well biAichcu. The Buzzer shot through to tho front below the distance, and, ridden out, he scored comfortably from Earl Colossus with Brazen King close up third. Convivial was fourth and then came International, Le Grand and Cloudy Bay.
