Ladies’ Committee of All Saints’ Children’s Home
FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR The first meeting or the year of the ladies’ committeo of All Saints’ Children’s Home was held yesterday morning at the Home, Canon U. Y. Woodward presiding. Also present were Mesdames If. Akers, N. Blackmore, A. E. Alansford, Nicholls (Oroua Downs), Misses K. Owtram and Whyte (hon. secretary). There were apologies from Mesdames H. G. Bagnall, T. R. Aloorc, W. F. Field, T. W. Phillips, A. Robinson, G. Y. Woodward and Mr. C. Handley. Tho matron reported that the health of tho children was excellent except for two who were now recovering from whooping cough. The children had had a very happy Christmas thanks to tho many good friends of the Home. Visits from several old boys and girls of the Homo during tho holidays natf bcea much appreciated. At tho close of tho sneotntg Mrs. Mansford, on behalf of tho meeting, wished Canon and Afrs. Woodward “bon voyage” with the hope they would have a wonderful holiday and come back much refreshed. Canon Woodward briefly returned 'hanks for the good wishes.
