Miss G rigor has returned to Park road, Palmerston North after holidaying in Hawke’s Bay.

Mr and Mrs John Murray and family returned to College House, North street, on Tuesday after a most enjoyable holiday spent at Marlborough Sounds.

Mr. and Mrs. X). H. Mclnness, of Derby street, Feilding, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Gibbons, Kirikau, Taumarunui, have returned home.

Mrs. Looker, who has been spending some months with her brother, Mr. D. J. Rogers, North street, left by the Awatea this week for Australia on her return to Africa.

At tho monthly meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the W.D.F.U. yesterday, sympathy with Mrs. W. JCroucher in the death of her sister was expressed, members standing in silenco as a mark of respect.

Miss Rosemary Ross, who has been doing Y.W.C.A. work with the Palmerston North association, left for Dunedin yesterday. Miss Amo Bennett, who has also been engaged in this work, left for New Plymouth en routfc for Whangarci.
