Five O’clock Party Held at Napier
Mr and Mrs It. D. Kettle gave a cheery five-to-seven party . at tha Hawke’s Bay Women’s Club on Monday evening, the function, at which dose on WO guests were present, was given for Mrs E. C. Riddifoid, Lower Hutt, mother of Mrs Kettle, and for a number of visitors to Napier for the Herrick-Elworthy weddingi, which took place early yesterday afternoon. The club rooms were tastefully decorated with bowls of gladioli, zinnias and choice dahlias and Mr and Mis Kettle received their guests in the lounge, the latter wearing a smart frock of crocus yellow crepe-de-chine, with interwoven black silk thread in the design. Her toquo was black and finished with an eye veil. Mrs Kiddiford was smartly gowned in black and white figured crepe-de-chine, worn with a black hat trimmed 1 with mesh veiling.
