Boy Steals Films For Home Showing

FULL-LENGTH FEATURES AND NEWSREELS. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Last Night. To show on a home projector, four motion picture films comprising two full-length features and tw r o newsreels wero stolon by a boy or sixteen who appeared at the Children’s Court to-day. The thefts extended over a period of six months. Two films were takeu from a service car garage where they wero awaiting transit and two from His Majesty 'a Theatre. The police stated that the films were recovered, one being cut in half. Mr Maunsell, S.M., placed the culprit finder the supervision of the Child Welfare officer with instructions to keep him. away from picture theatres.
