Mrs. W A. Moir has been appointed general secretary of the Christchurch Young Men’s Christian Association, in succession to Mr. A. J. McEldowney, who is about to take over the position of Christchurch superintendent for the Presbyterian Social Service Association. Mr. Moir has many friends in Palmerston North and during his 5& years of residence in the city some few years ago, he was intimately connected with St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church as a member of the Kirk Session and the Deacon’s Court, and was also a Sunday school teacher.
