Wimbledon Stock Sale

Messrs Williams aud Kettle Ltd., re port having heid their annual stock sale at Wimbledon on Saturday when they offered the usual big gathering of sheep, comprising principally of breding ewes to a big attendance of buyers. The offering included some of the best annual drafts of 5-yr. Ewes which are sold in Southern Uawkes Bay. Competition was keen from the start of the sale to the finish and a total clearance was effected at prices that compare favourably with sales at the main centres. They quote as follows: A/c Farnhaiu station, 436 5-yr. ewt.s, 325; 67 4-th ewes, 41s 2d; 107 2-th ewes, 37s 6d; 97 5-yr. ewes, 295; 114 shorn ewe iambs, 23s 6d. A/c Woodbank station, 509 5-yr. ewe| 31s; 150 2-th. owes, 39s lOd; 151 2-th ewes, 39s 8d; 49 5-yr ewes, 28s 3d. A/c Pipibank station, 387 5-yr. ewes, owes, 30s 4d; 169 4-th. to 4-yr. ewes, 33s 3d; 200 2-th. ewes, 375. A/c Spencer Speedy Esq., Hcrbertville, 132 2-th. ewes, 355; 32 4-th to 5-yr. ewes, 32s 9d.
