Messrs Williams and Kettle Ltd., report having held tneir second annual Akitio stock sale at the Ora Station yards (kindly lent by Mr Brian Armstrong) when a big yarding of sheep came forward, all lots being in firstclass condition. There was a big attendance of buyers and though competition was not spirited, full market rates were obtained for all lines. A total clearance was effected and prices were very satisfactory to vendors, satisfactory to vendors. They quote:— On account Ora Station, Akitio, 608 2-th ewes, 40/6, 320 6-yr ewes 26/3. Account Maramainga Station, Akitio, 487 2-th ewes, 40/-. Account L. G. C-osso, Jnr., Akil. 168 2-th ewes, 40/-. Account L. H. Gilbert Esq., Akitio, 60 2-th ewes, 35/8; 144 m.a. ewes 30/10. Account W. T. Luxton, Esq., Akitio, 111 2 and 4-th ewes, 32/10; 185 3 and 5- ewes, 30/5. Account Braeside Station, Akitio, 220 6- ewes, 23/3. Account Akitio Station, Akitio, I 10-yr. gelding, £45; 1 6-yr filly, unbroken, £35; 1 5-yr filly, unbroken, £29. The Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-op. Association Ltd., report o- their annual sale in the Ora yards (kindly lent by Brian Armstrong Esq.) at Akitio, on the Bth. inst. They offered approximately 2000 breeding ewes to a good attendance of buyers. Their sales were as follow: On account F. Armstrong Esq., Akitio Station, 668 2-th ewes, 40/8; 182 6-yr. ewes, 26/9; 64 6-yr ewes, 24/-; 56 2-th ewes, 35/6. Account Messrs. Stewart Bros., TiTree Point, 274 2-th ewes, 37/10. Account F. J. Gilbert Esq., 144 m.a. ewes, 30/10; 60 2-th ewes, 35/8. HUNTERVILLE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on the Hunterville sale held on Monday last as follows:—A large yarding of both ewes and lambs of all classes was submitted to a good attendance of the public and we report a good clearance at auction at values which must be considered most satisfactory to vendors. Some of our chief sales were as under:— On a/c Mr J. Bull-—in conjunction with Messrs Dalgety and Co., and the N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., and ourselves—6ll 4,6, 4 and 5 vr ewes, 28s od;a/c Mr Keu G. Dalzicll 350 2-th ewes at £2 ss—(good line); a/c Mr R. Williamson, 4-yr ewes at 275; 5-yr. ewes, 22s 6d, 2-th ewes, 375; a/c Mr W. H. Aid worth, aged ewes, 225; a/c Mr A. Hatrick, aged low-con-ditioned ewes, 20s; a/c W. Coleman Estate, Wly, b.f. lambs, 18s; a/c Mr W. C. Coleman, Wly. b.f. lambs, 18s; a/c Mr E. Hall, 200 shorn b.f. lambs, 18s Id; a/c other vendors, shorn wether lambs, 14s, 15s 16s to 16s 9d; small b.f. lambs, 10s, 11s, 12s 13s to 14s 4d.

Dalgety and Company Limited, report heavy entries of breeding ewes and lambs at the Hunterville sale on Monday, Bth instant. A number of straight station lines of two tooths and full mouth ewes drew good competition and the whole yarding changed hands at satisfactory prices. We quote:—2-th ewes, small, 3os, 365, 36s 9d; 4-yr. ewes, 30s 6d; 4 and 5 yr. ewes, 275, 28s 6d; 5 yr. ewes, 26s 6d, 28s 6d, 295; 6 yr. ewes, 18s 9d, 21s; aged ewes, I.os 6d, 16s 9d; shorn b.f. lambs, 18s, 18s 4d, 18s 7d; shorn wether lambs, 9s 6d, 12s 3d, 13s lOd, 15s 7d; shorn ewe lambs, ISs, 19s 3d, 225.
