Women’s Institute

KOPANE. The meeting held on January 27 took the form of a social afternoon held in picnic fashion in the pretty surroundings of Mrs Salt’s home. Various competitions were hold, the winners of which were Mesdamea Dawbin, Humphries, LearmOnth and Jones. The children present spefat a happy time with games and treasure hunts, and each re ceived a bag of sweets. Afternon tea brought a most enjoyable afternoon to a close. Mrs Barnicoat, of the North Wellington Executive has kindly prom ised to give a talk at the next meeting of the Institute, to be held on February 24 at Mrs L. Boddy's house
