Rumoured Merger of Matson and Dollar Lines
WITHOUT FOUNDATION, SAYS MATSON. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyrlgh t. Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Feb. 8. Rumours are current here that the Matson and Dollar lines are negotiating an amalgamation but the Associated Press is assured by the Matson line that they are without foundation. Efforts at further confirmation were unavailing.
