Prize of £750 Comes To Palmerston North
WELL-KNOWN BUSINESS-MAN’S GOOD FORTUNE. Winning £16,000 out of the £18,500 prize money, New Zealanders scooped the pool in a recent Tasmanian ‘ * consultation/ ’ the results of which came to hand on Alonday. The first prize of £12,000, the second oi £2OOO, and the fourth of £IOOO, went to Wellington, while the fifth (£750) came to Palmerston North. The winner of the latter is a well-known business-man, and us his identity is barely concealed by the nom-de-plumo he used, lie has already had several motor-car salesmen paying him calls.
