Infantile Paralysis
SUSPECT IN DUNEDIN. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Last Night. A girl of 13 years from Portobello, • inspected of being affected by iutuutile paralysis wus admitted to the public hospital to-day for observation. This case is only the second one notified in Dunedin and suburbs since (Saturday, January 30. The fact that the other case has been diagnosed as negative gives the state of the epidemic in Dunedin a very favourable aspect. There were no notifications from country districts. SEVENTH CASE IN SOUTHLAND. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Last Night. Tho seventh case of infantile paralysis iu Southland since the outbreak of the present epidemic, a boy aged 17 from Waihoaka, was admitted to the Southland Hospital to-day. This Is the second case from Waihoaka, the other oue a boy aged 15$, being admitted on January 27. All the cases in Southland so far have come from rural districts, Invercargill still being free.
