Cars Must be Tested By March 31st

MANY FOUND UNFIT FOR ROAD. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Motorists aro required by the legislation passed during tho last session of Parliament to have their vehicles tested and passed as fit for the road betore March 31, the Minister of Trausport (Hon. R. Semple) said this evening. He is determined that every car be tested before being allowed to continue on the road. He had thought the selection of March 31 as the last day would give sufficient time for testing but he did not now intend to adhere rigidly to that date.
