Feilding Returned Soldiers

MONTHLY MEETING HELD Mr. Bruce McLeod (president) presided at the monthly meeting of the Feilding executive held on Saturday evening when, inter aiia, tho question of representation in tho Coronation contingent was dealt with. Four applications have already been roceived and it was decided to receive further applications up to Friday next, the 12th inst., when tho matter will bo finally disposed of. Application forms are availaole at the office of Mr. C. H. Tato (town clerk). A vote of thanks was passed to an anonymous donor of £5 towards the cost of purchasing toys for the children of returned men at Christ mas time. Advice was roceived from headquarters that crosses would this year bo available for Poppy Day but these would be required to be ordered in advance.
