Miss Gwen Gibbs’ Cabaret

VIENNESE WALTZ A NEW FEATURE Bowls of vivid gladioli and hydrangeas formed an effective setting for fhe monthly cabaret held by Miss Gwen Gibbs in her Broadway Studio, Broadway, on Saturday evening. Dancing was enjoyed to excellent music supplied by the B.S.D. orchestra. For the occasion Miss Gibbs chose a gown of smoky-blue georgette finished with a pale pink spray, while her assistants, Misses L. McAffer and M. Tegden, wore becoming frocks of floral georgette in lavender tonings and suntan French organdi with prune finishings respectively. A pleasing feature of the evening was the demonstration of the Viennese waltz by Miss Gibbs and her partner. A delicious savoury supper was served and the function terminated at midnight.
