Grim Reminder of Spanish War
BOOItD BODIES COME ASHORE IN FRANCE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. PARIS, Feb. 7. Five dead men bound hand and foot, three of whom were gagged, were washed up on the coast of Brittany. They are believed to be the victims of a clash aboard one of the many Spanish ships which anchor in tho estuary of the Loire. A wallet found on one contained a Santander address. Ono victim was wearing sailor clothes. The French police are trying to solve the riddlo and are keeping a close watch on the coast in the belief that more bodies will be washed ud.
