Boy of Six Killed In Motor Mishap

JBIG CAR CRASHES INTO SMALL ONE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A child was killed and his mother and infant brother were severely injured when a motor car in which they were travelling was struck by a larger car on tho Great South road, green lane, late on Saturday afternoon and then collided violently with a telegraph pole. The driver of the smaller car escaped with a severe shaking and tho four occupants of the otlior vehiclo were unhurt. The victims were:— Killed.—Donald William Hay dock, six years, of Otahuhu. Injured.—Mrs Celina Pearl Hay dock, aged 33, head injuries and concussion, condition not serious. Kenneth John Haydock, aged 16 months, fractured ribs, condition fairly serious. Tho driver 6f the small car, Reginald Haydock, father of the two children, suffered from shock.
