Music Teachers Honour Veteran

UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP DECIDED ON Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Music Teachers’ Registration Board of New Zealand has decided to offer a scholarship biennially of £lO tenable for two years, to registered teachers of music or to pupils of such, who are desirous of taking a university degree in music. The scholarship will be offered at any centre having a department of music at its university and the award will bo known as "The Robert Parker Scholarship. ” Condi tions of the award are yet to be drawn up and an offer will then bo made to the University Senate. The scholarship is intended to form a permanent testimony to the life work in the interests of music in Now Zea land of Mr. Robert Parker, wiho has been chairman of the board since its inception.
