Supreme Court Starts To-day

HEAVY LIST FOR NAPIER SESSION (Special to 1 ‘Times") NAPIER, Feb. 6. Seven criminal trials, five civil eases oefore the Judge and a jury of 12, two civil actions before the Judge alono, 1 petitions in divorce, and a number of miscellaneous cases are included in a particularly heavy list for the Supremo Court session which commences at Napier on Monday. In addition to this, there aro four prisoners to be sentenced. The session, which will be presided over by Mr. Justice Osier, is expected to last into the following week, although some of the cases may tto stood down until tho next sessio. One case, which has appeared in the Court list for several sessions, that of Rex v. Sullivan, for robbery and assault, is not mentioned on this occasion. Sullivan, who wats at liberty for some time following a second escape from the mental institution to which he had been sent for observation, pleaded guilty upon his recapture and was sentenced elsewhere.
