Feilding Birthday Gathering

MISS JOAN PEARSON HONOURED. Miss Joan Pearson, of Denbigh street, Feilding, was the guest of honour at a birthday party gathering arranged by her mother at her home on Thursday evening. Orange-tinted gladioli and dahlias were the decorations in the drawingroom, where tables were set for bridge and a novel Indian game, carromboard, which pleasantly passed the evening till a dainty birthday supper was served. Miss Pearson was wearing a brown floral frock, while Airs Pearson’s gown was of navy blue. Those present were Missos D. Burgess, Joan Benson, M. Watts, F. Tutty, Isobei Desmond, Irene Fitzpatrick, Grace Little, Doreen Hunt, Joan McDowell, Noeline Heap and Amy Clark.
