Preservation of Historic Area in Britain
(British Official Wireless.) Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 3. A large area of the Ohiltern Hills m Buckinghamshire, including land round the Prime Minister's- residence, Chequers, will bo preserved for all time under the scheme agreed upon by the local authorities. Tho scheme provides for the preservation of more than 704 acres and the reservation of a further 4016 acres in the neighbourhood rich in historical associations.
