Improving Physique of British Army Recruits
VALUE OF NUTRITION (British Official "Wireless.) Received Wednesday, 9.50 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 2. Recently as an experiment a number of applicants who failed to pass the medical examination for the army were given a period of physical training during which attention was given to their nutrition. Tho War Secretary informed the Commons that the experiment had proved successful and its practical application ou a larger scale was under consideration.
