Diesel Rail-car for British Lines

NEW TYPE TO BE INTRODUCED (British Official Wireless.) Received Wednesday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 2. A new type of diesel rail car will shortly be introduced by the Great Western railway on one of its branch lines. Tho car is based on experience gained during the last three years from tho running of 37 streamlined singleunit rail cars. It will be capable of taking a * ’tail ” , load of passenger or goods vehicles up to 60 tons in weight and of performing light shunting. There is car accommodation for 49 passengers in two saloons.
