Engine Trouble on Wanganella
ON TRIP FROM SYDNEY TO AUCKLAND Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Engine trouble was encountered on the second day out from Sydney by the Huddart-Parker motor ship Wnnganella which arrived at Auckland this afternoon. Although tho officers and representatives of the company in Auckland were reticent and refused to discuss tho matter it is understood for a time the liner was driven by only one engine. Piston trouble was said to have made it necessary to stop one engine temporarily on the second day of the voyage. It was stated repairs would be effected while the liner was in port.
