From Our Owu Correspondent A delightful party was held in the school on Friday evening i n honour of the coming of age of Iva Fulton. The evening was given by Air and Mrs Fulton, parents of the guest. The main part of the programme comprised dancing, music being supplied by Mr D. Drysdalo and Mr Day ah, cousins of the guest of honour. Extras were supplied by Mr Burton and Mr A. Wake. A parcel game was won by Mr T. Kewley. A peanut competition was won by Mr Daysh and daughter. A lucky Gay Gordons was won by Miss Daysh and partner. Two humorous recitations were rendered by Mr H. Dearie. After supper was served the toast of the guest of honour was drunk and the usual musical honoours followed. A beautiful cake, made by the guest's mother, was cut by Iva. Mrs C. Davie, on behalf of those present, thanked Mr and Mrs Fulton for the delightful evening which they had all enjoyed. Mrs Fulton, he said, was always on deck for the social evenings held locally and was always there to lend a helping hand. Mr Iva Fulton thanked his parents for the evening and those present for the beautiful presents which had been re-
ceived. Mr Fulton then thanked those who had accepted their invitations and so made the evening a success. Dancing was continued until a late hour. Mr E. Fulton.acted as M.C.. Personal Miss Aileen Don, of Hastings, is at present the guest of the Fulton family. Ms S. Schnell is at present on a visit to Wellington.
