Five hundred patrons of a fashionable restaurant were forced to cuter the kitchen and serve themselves when 60 waiters struck at the height of tho dinner hour. The spokesman for the waiters stood in the centre of tho dance floor, announced the strike and led the exodus of waiters. The patrons were assisted by the hat check and cigarette girls and cashiers.
