Rest and Plunket Rooms for Bulls. Air J. B. Walker, chairman of the Bulls Town Board, presided over a fair attendance at the meeting called to discuss a scheme for a Plunket and Rest Room in Hulls. Air Walker said that the present rest room at the town hall was not an acquisition to the town.. If a canvas was taken of the district the neeessa.y funds would bo easily collected, lie explained how the present Town Boards building and reading room were built in a way that it could be added to, and there was no doubt in his mind that this would be the most suitable and cheapest site. Air F. A. Holland endorsed Air Walker s remarks. lie considered the rooms were greatly wanted, in his mind the Town Board's site was the oest as it would be the Town Board’s business to see that the building was kept up. He submitted a plan which he considered would meet the wants. Aiiss Cook, secretary of the Alarton Plunket branch, congratulated the Bulls people on the move they were making. She explained the running of the Alarton branen and how easily tne money nas raised to build the rest and Plunket rooms there. Aiiss Cook explained at length the running of Plunket rooms. Alter a lengthy discussion. Air F. A. Holland moved that a canvas of the district bo laken to raise funds and that a committee be formed to carry on the work. This was agreed and the following were elected to tne committee, with power to add:—Hon secretary, Air C. W. Farrer; treasurer, Air L. cutts; committee: Alesdames A. J. tshaw, F. A. Holland, E. V. Wfclson, F. J. Alunseii, B. P. Honnes. H. Meads, C. W. Farrer; Alessrs H. Holland, A. J. fchaw, J. B. Walker, A. Amon, F. C. Jurgens, F. A. Holland. Air J. B. Walker was elected chairman of the committee. Apologies were received from Alessrs A. Amon and W. Rowell, both being willing to help in the movement. It was remarked that the members of the Women's Institute were also interesting themselves in the matter and would give their support.
