The Takapuna Jockey Club's summer meeting was completed at Ellerslie to-day and the attendance was 11,000. The track was holding early, improving later, and the totalisator handled £33,873, as compared with £36,523 last year. The figures for the meeting were £52,943 10s, as against £61,024 10s last year, there being a decrease of £BOBI. Tybalt finished attractively to win by three-quarters of a length, Royal Appellant and Knight of Australia being a similar distance back dead heated for third, being followed by Con Fuoco and Gay T^kie.
