Building in Napier
Building permits to the value of £9OIB 15s 6d were issued by the Napier building inspector, Mr. E. Grant, during January, compared with permits to the value of £3051 for. the some month of 193 G. In all 11 permits have been issued, seven for new dwellings of a total value of £5971; two for alterations involving ail expenditure of £350; one for a hew block of flats, £1500; and ono for additions to the Port Ahuriri Primary School, £.1197 15s 6d.
