Ormondville Hall

NEW COMMITTEE ELECTED. A public meeting was held on Wednesday night in the Peace Memorial Hall to form a new hall committee. Mr G. S. Chapman presided. The following were elected for the ensuing year: —Secretary and treasurer, Mr Kingsley Port; trustees, Messrs R. Benbow and G. Port; auditor, Miss A. M. Webb; general committee, Messrs G. S. Chapman, H. O. Baines, A. Baines, J. C. Packer, A. Port, G. Port, A. Hutcheson, Mesdames G. S. Chapman, J. C. Packer, H. R. Benbow and Miss Brabazon. It was decided to hold meetings on the last Monday in every third month and to have the annual meeting on the last Monday in January. A vote of thanks was passed to the local Women's Institute for contributing towards the upkeep of the hall, and to Misfe A. M. Webb for acting as auditor last year.
