An athletic meeting was held on the Dannevirke Domain on Wednesday evening in fair weather. Results were:— Men's 220 yards: C. R. Fothergill (28) 1, L. Hansen (23) 2, B. Thompson (35) 3. Won by 1$ yards. Time 22 secs. Men's 1320 yards: B. Manley (310) 1, . Harper (115) 2, C. R. Redward (160) 3. Won easily. Time 3 min. 11 1-5 secs. One mile cycle: W. Hickey (180) 1, F. Wilson (10) 2, W. Hansen (45) 3. Won by 2J lengths. Time 2 min. 29 3-5 secs. Two miles cycle: R. Miller (20) 1, W. Hansen (60) 2, R. Wilson (90) 3. Won by $ a wheel. Time 5 min. 16 3-5 secs. Women’s 100 yards: M. Kell (16) and M. Donaldson (9) 1 equal, S. FiTth (15) 3. Won by $ yard. Time 12 secs. Women’s 120 yards: M. Donaldson (10) 1, M. Kell (17*) 2, S. Firth (16*) 3. Won by 1$ yards. Time 14 1-5 cecs.
