Shipments of Meat
The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia, youth America, and {South Africa to the United Kingdom during the first half of January, 1937, were as follows: Australia: Carcases mutton 30,084, lamb 28,104, quarters beef (frozen) 503, (chilled) 790. South America: Carcases mutton 4,823, lamb 205,980, quarters beef (frozen) 770, (chilled) 212,174. South Africa (including Southern Rhodesia): quarters beef (chilled) 4,915. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the first half of January were as follows: Carcases mutton 31,279, lamb 020,129, quarters beef (frozen) 538, (chilled) 8,595.
