Marton Ram Fair
There was a large entry of rams comprising G stud S.D. rams, 106 Romney rams and 470 S.D. rams at the above fixture which attracted a large number of buyers from all over Rangitikei. In the Flock Romney class there was keen competition on all rams showing quality and Mr E. Openshaw topped tho market iu this section with a well bred ram which realised 2G guineas, another pen of 4 on account of the same breeder realised 19 guineas. In Flock Southdowns a very nice ram on account of Ellis Bros, realised 11J guineas. The following are the sales:— Flock Romneys.—Account E.
